Last week we travelled down to Bury farm for our last ever visit to Pony of the year. After a very early start on the Thursday morning, 4 hours later we arrived at the venue.
Tioren started the weekend off to a clear in the 1.05 clear round and then sadly started to suffer from the early morning which meant the 1.15 was no ones fault. As we were in England we had to deal with the typical English weather which lead the stables to be deep in mud and soaking wet. Sadly the first two days of the qualifying rounds didn’t go as we planned down to a unhappy pony further more to that on the final day of jumping outdoors he jumped a foot perfect clear in the first round of a strong 1.10 and a very unlucky pole in the jump off down to me hitting the wing with my foot which finished us in 8th place overall .
Even though the jumping didn’t work out as well as we all hoped I still enjoyed my final year jumping there and made a lot of new friends to remember it with.
Next weekend we are heading over to South View Equestrian centre on the 18th. Make sure you keep an eye out for us.
Thank you all for reading , Chloe. x
