Well what can I can , Crystal jumped her socks off yesterday at Maelor Equestrian centre in the Scope Festival qualifiers.
The warm up arena was far to deep for comfort while we were warming up and after Crystals little break from jumping she was rather fresh warming up. It did make me giggle a bit with her fly bucks after the fences in the warm up but I probably shouldn’t laugh because she nearly had me off.
She went very green when she got into the ring which I knew would play on my advantage as she would back off the fences more and concentrate , She jumped double clear in the new class for scope the Graham heath 85cm qualifier and qualified. I was extremely thrilled with her as she jumped the best she had in a while and obviously qualified for scope which I love competing at the show. The second class she was even more fresh warming up and went in the arena looking at everything , which didn’t help the fact they put random plants in odd areas of the arena so Crystal made approaching the fences rather difficult. Still she went double clear again and went into the lead early on in the class and later finished in 7th place and qualified the 95cm panda flooring for scope but we left before the prize giving as our car had broke.
Pleased we have qualified 2 of our classes in our first attempt with just 2 more classes to qualify now.
