Well after leaving the yard at 7.50am on Sunday morning we arrived at South View equestrian centre at 11:30am. A horrible experience for all of us on board the lorry, Ruby handled the situation better than all of us. A huge thanks to South View for sending out a farmer to save us however we then came a few more problems to tackle before we finally got back on the road.
After missing both are originally planned classes we then decided we would enter the 95cm amateur and the Discovery/1m which she jumped foot perfect with no errors from herself all day, sadly I made a little error in both classes which meant we had 4 faults in both first rounds. Ruby felt unbelievable around the tracks and I felt after even more help from Michelle the courses were even more easier to ride .
A very stressful start to the day which didn’t faze Ruby or myself, Not bad for her first time out in over 5 weeks.
plently more days to come.
