The potholes in the roads of Zambia are so bad most roads have more holes than tarmac. There is a Zambian joke that goes.
The minister for transport is out of town with his driver, they have to pull up at a big pothole and there is an animal head poking out the top. The minister says look there’s a dog in that one, The driver turns to him and says no minister that’s a giraffe.
