All the planning in the world still worries me.

I don’t think D-day was this well planned. For months now I have been a searching the Internet for little gems of information to make sure this trip is everything I thought it would be for the last 25 years that I have been planning it.

Every country, town, village, track wild campsite is documented to a ridiculous level. Those wild animals had better be where I plan them to be. I do this so I can relax on the trip not having to worry about where we are going next,but this makes the stress before the trip huge. Maybe on the next trip I should exercise my old mantra of ‘antipprep’, which is the art of no preparation and just allowing it to happen… I will have to write some notes down on that… Aaargh… Failed already.

And now it is close I look at Drax and wonder what am I doing.

Damm it, I didn’t plan anything for these feelings 🤔
