A funny thing happened in Cornwall

While off roading we popped out on a flat bit of uplands and found an old WW2 abandoned airfield with all its runways and buildings, very strange

WW2 air traffic controll tower left to the weather we found it
range rover goes for a swim
Overland range rover extrenme at abandonded WW2 airfield in Cornwall poldark country
it was a very large airfield

there is a museum nearby called Cornwall at war.
